6 weeks old!

Time keeps marching on. Avery is now 6 weeks old. She will actually be 7 weeks old this Thursday. I am a little late at blogging her 6 week pictures. I just can't believe that 6 weeks ago she decided to make her debut! She has changed so much. She has the sweetest little round face and a chubby little belly and thighs to go with! She is sleeping longer stretches at night which is such a nice treat for momma! She is doing 3 - 3 1/2 hour stretches now. She also is doing longer periods of wakefulness during the day. And my baby girl has smiled at me several times today while trying to talk to me! She makes the cutest faces while she is trying to get sounds out. Some of them are just plain funny! Her little coos and squeals suprise herself at times! Although we haven't heard too much from her yet I can tell she has a lot to say! She sure is trying her hardest to get those noises out and when she does get the hang of it I think she will be a chatter box! But for the most part she is still a professional sleeper!
