Visit to Santa's Wonderland! ♥

We had a fun afternoon at BassPro visiting Santas Wonderland, which we were not able to do last year which was a bummer, but Arkansas doesn't have a BassPro Shop. The kidlets had some things to tell Santa, so it was a necessary trip! We had a blast, and Bobbie won a pair of 160.00 sun glasses! Merry Christmas to her! The kidlets hopped right on up and told Santa what they wanted. Avery, a babydoll and a toy fish, and Garrett, a BB Gun... lol they also stuck a letter in his mailbox listing their desires.

♥ First Field Trip

Breakfast at school
Halloween marked the day of Avery's very first field trip. And where does a preschool class go on their first field trip you ask? Why the Pumpkin Patch, of course! I don't know what aspect they were more excited by, riding the school bus for the first time, or getting to the pumpkin patch. I was lucky enough to chaperone and I got to ride the bus too! Its been a lot of years, and let me tell you, they have not improved any. ;)  The kids enjoyed Pig races, Hay ride, Petting Zoo, Cow tractor ride, Playing on the hay bales, A picnic, And pumpkin picking! It was a successful 1st field trip for sure!

Excited to be riding the SCHOOL BUS!

The bus turned on and all the kids were full of smiles and giggles!

Snacks before pig races

Hay Ride smiles!

Mrs. Evans (one of Avery's teachers)  hopped in for a ride too!

The pumpkin she picked

Most of the kids assumed this same position on the ride back to school! Worn out babies!

<3 Special girls only lunch-- Happy Birthday Ezra Scot <3

Lots to catch up on, but this one is by far of highest joy. Ezra Scot Hill was welcomed into the world last Friday! He joins big siblings Noah, Katy, and Jack! Such a sweet little blessing to add to the adorable mix! Congrats Jason and Heather! He is absolute perfection!
To celebrate "yay Heather is in labor", my mom, Avery, and I went to eat at Viraporn's for lunch. Heather and I loved to sneak off and enjoy a lunch together there as often as we were able when we both lived here. We ordered our favorites "Thai Coleslaw" and "Pineapple fried rice" as well as my moms suggestion of "vegetable curry" and "chicken satay". It was delicious! Avery kept saying "this is a special girls lunch. Only girls!" Too cute! Loved spending this day with the two most important girls in my life! I am so blessed and once again, my heart runneth over! :)

Another Day at the Beach <3

We spent last Friday at Howard Creek Beach aka Westport Union Landing. Garrett and Avery spent the entire time splashing in the creek, and building dams. Grammie and Momma looked on as we shared "spits" (sunflower seeds) and conversation! <3 The weather has been showing off since we have been here!

Cowpokes

Yesterday the kidlets fufilled their one greatest request-- riding Grammie's horses! Willie and Tory weren't too sure about being "worked" by these two little people at first. Garrett and Avery climbed right on like they had been riding every day for their entire lives! It was a joy to watch my momma sharing her passion with my babies! And seeing Garrett up in my old saddle was a treat in itself! <3

Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses <3

The kidlets and I are enjoying our vacation in California! Lots to catch you up on from the week we have been here, but today we spent the afternoon at the "Front Beach" which just so happens to be down infront of Westport. The day was so pretty with the sun sparkling off the water and they had a blast running through the waves and climbing the rocks.  Avery didn't quite understand what waves were all about at first. Afterall, the only beach she has ever been to that she remembers is FL gulf beaches. They don't really have waves there... more like blips. :) Enjoy some cellphone shots of our day!
