Updates!

Today marks the official beginning of Hurricane Season 2007. And we are starting with a bang. Tropical Storm Barry is in the gulf and bringing lots of much needed rain. The projected path shows it going to the south of us across central Florida and up into Georgia. As of right now it looks like we will be spared, however we could use the rain.

I had my first OB visit at the Naval Hospital today. The baby sounds great and I am measuring right on target! We also have a date for her arrival via c-section. Our baby girl will be born on my 27th birthday! That's right, July 11th 2007 unless she decides to make an early debut! I could not believe it when the midwife who scheduled the surgery said "OK! We are all set for Wednesday July 11th!" Brandon thinks this is the coolest thing ever as he was born on his mom's birthday. I was a bit hesitant but my dad gave me some great words of encouragement and now I am embracing it with a positive outlook! This will be something special that she and I share! (I just realized as I am typing this that Brandon will be the only member of our little family that will not have a birth date on the 11th day of a month! LOL!) I have my next check up in two weeks so stay tuned for baby updates!
