Hello everyone! I know! It's about time, right? I finally got pictures uploaded yesterday to our computer so now I am able to blog about our move! Everything went great! Friday night Brandons mom, Tommy, and Teresa came to help us pack up our lives! Saturday morning Brandon and Tommy picked up the big ol' budget moving truck and unloaded our storage unit before heading to the house. As you can see by the pictures Garrett was so excited by the big moving truck. He told us that he wanted to ride with Daddy in the moving truck so that's exactly what he got to do! Anyways, we spent Saturday and the first half of Sunday packing, loading, and cleaning. We rolled out of Slidell at about noon on Sunday after saying goodbye to our friends with one big moving truck, Nannie and Da's truck, the trailblazer, and the civic all piled full of our belongings. It was a close call as to whether we were going to make everything fit but in true Brandon fashion he did make it fit! (We did leave a ton of stuff at the curb for the trash collector though) So Garrett and Brandon rode in the big moving truck while I followed behind in the Trailblazer with the dog and our tropical fish. Yes, our tropical fish. And by some miracle the fish survived the move! They were troopers! We closed on our house on Monday (as you might have already read) and Tuesday began the unloading the vehicles process with the help of Brandon's dad and granddad (aka "Da" for those of you that don't know). It also began the painting process of the interior of our house. I will post the pictures of that a little later! Garrett has been quite a little trooper through this whole process, although we have had a few total meltdowns. I will post pictures of the house (it's a work in progress still) later! Enjoy the pics from our move for now!
