1 week old!

Say it isn't so! Avery is a week old already! Yesterday was her 1-week day! She is growing too fast! I wish there was a way to keep her this small a little longer! So far we see her eyes very seldom. She is a professional sleeper! (There are a couple of other things she does professionally too... like, fill her diaper and nurse!) Garrett gets very excited when she opens her eyes! He has been a great helper. He just loves his baby sister. Yesterday Nannie and Da and Ryan came for a visit and when Nannie asked Garrett "What is baby sister's name?" Garrett responded "Avery Laikyn!" (Avery sounds like A-Ree when he says it. So cute!) We didn't even know he knew her middle name! It was precious! Anyways things on this end are wonderful! We are totally in love and in awe of our baby girl! God is great! I over did it a bit and now I am having some tenderness and pain at my incicison site but I am trying to lay low and not do much! Tomorrow is my babyshower... well, its Avery's baby shower since SHE decided she would like to be present for it! Apparently it was supposed to be a suprise but Avery turned out to be the real suprise! She had her own plans! I will post pictures from that soon! Have a wonderful weekend!
