Garrett was invited to a skating party for another Coastie kid this past weekend and he did great on his little toddler skates! It was so cute to watch him get around. The only problem was that he was so into watching the bigger kids whiz by him that he would stop or start going the wrong direction and there were litteral referee's enforcing the rules so we kept getting in trouble! (They were all teenagers and had no clue about how it is with a toddler.) We had fun despite them. Brandon used to work at a skating rink so he had some moves but I was a big chicken! I think I was probably 12 the last time I was on skates of any sort... Rollerblades. I remember Roller blading being easier than roller skating. Maybe my mind is a bit fuzzy about that. At any rate we know a certain little someone who will have roller skates on his Christmas wish list!
