Garrett had so much fun at the pumpkin patch. This year he was REALLY into it. There is only one patch back open in our region since Katrina and it was a pretty decent one at that! They have a petting zoo area and Garrett got to get up close and personal with bunnies, goats, ducklings, a calf, a cow, sheep, a piglet... the list goes on and on. When he saw some chickens in a small coop he yelled "Chickens!" and started doing the chicken dance. I was too slow with the camera to capture that one on film but it was priceless! He got to pick out his own pumpkin with the help of daddy! It was all business to find the perfect one! Brandon had him cracking up while I took his pictures by putting bunny ears behind my head. Garrett kept getting up and walking behind me as I was trying to take pictures so that he could make bunny ears on me too ~ He has such a fun sense of humor! I am in awe of how big he looks in these pictures. I might post a picture from last years trip to the pumpkin patch to show you a comparison of how much older he looks now. When we left the patch he said "Bye Animals, Bye Pumpkins!" So cute!

Awe! How cute! I am glad you all had such a great time at the pumpkin patch!
Garrett and that chick look like love at first sight! Is't it amaszing how much joy comes from seeing the world again through the eyes of a child.
I was with Heather when Noah went to the pumpkin patch and I'll tell you the blessing of having another opportunity of seeing the world now through the eyes of a grandson is amazing.
Thank you for letting us be apart of Garrett's childhood through this blog! We just love it!
With Prayers Rhonda
Happy Halloween! :)
I just wanted to say the picture of G picking up the pumpkin should be entered into a photo contest! I love it!
