Remember us?

Hi there! We're the Henderson's. That cute little Coastie Family who used to exist within the realms of this blog. A long, long time ago... Back before the dinosaurs, Oh wait! Not THAT long ago~ I know, I know... way too long between posts and updates. We might as well be dinosaurs in the blogging world. As a matter of fact I just logged into blogger for the first time in ages and I see that the dashboard (the control panel for the blog administrator) is all new and fancied up. When did THAT happen? Oh technology is such a fast paced world. At this rate I will never catch up. I will not even make any empty promises about being a better blogger. I just can't seem to find the time. But I have high hopes. High hopes that our poor neglected blog will get some quality time with momma...

We took this (and a few more) family shot tonight because tomorrow Garrett must bring in a family photo for the first day of his Pre K class. Yep, you read that right. Tomorrow Garrett starts PreK!! I am in utter disbelief that my baby boy, my littleman, my bugga, my, my, my... (sorry, got a little carried away ha ha) is old enough to be in PRESCHOOL! Somebody hold me. He is ecstatic to be starting school. His first question was if he got to ride the bus now. Poor kid. I had to tell him not this year. And, truth be known, he might not be riding it at all when he starts kindergarten next year. I think we might live too close to the school. I rarely see a school bus in our neighborhood and the ones that I do see usually are letting off middle school aged children. Ok there is a quick little update from the Henderson's. I will *make a concerted effort* to update with pictures of Garretts first day of school tomorrow. In the meantime enjoy this one shot of our little family! I love the realness of it. Avery is crying and its forever caught in this moment. Not every family portrait is "perfect". Well, define perfect. Because the moment captured in this photograph is what I would call perfect. But I am biased. And slightly skewed. ;)
