8 whole months~!

Another month fly's by! Avery Laikyn is now 8 months old. Gosh what a fun fun age. I know. You have read those exact words on this very blog time and time again! But its TRUE. Each time I say it, I genuinely mean it! Our little chunky cupcake is roughly weighing in at 19 lbs. She has survived her first bout of pneumonia. Phew! She is trying her hardest to crawl. Up until lately she has been content to just sit upright and has detested being on her stomach. That all has changed now that its her idea! She thinks its pretty cool! She is also showing interest in pulling herself up on things. She is clapping on her own and gets so proud of herself! She is waving ALL the time. Even wakes in her sleep to wave just one more time before really calling it a night! She says "iiiiiiiii" and "Baa Buh" for Hi and Bye bye. And when we say Bye Bye she usually looks at the door and starts waving. She smacks her lips to make kissing sounds whenever we say "Kisses". She also starts excitedly waving and making kisses the instant daddy gets home each evening! But she actually gives opened mouth kisses and they are full of sugar! She thinks blowing kisses is hillarious! Avery is getting to be a peek- a- boo pro now. She holds up a blanket over her face and peek a boo's us with a big ol' grin! (I will post pictures of this cuteness soon!) She is really figuring out the art of communication and interaction and its just so adorable! She is a lover of water. Loves it! Loves to drink it and loves bath time! She is full of giggles... especially for Garrett! Oh how I wish you could see the way Avery looks at her big brother. Like he is the greatest thing that ever walked the earth. I desire for their bond to always stay as strong as it is now as it is so heartwarming and well... simply perfect. We are so blessed by our children! Life is sweet! (OH and I have to do a little correction to her seven months post... that tooth that was poking through... has disappeared. No, we are not crazy, it really was there! I guess it went back into hiding! So the next time I make a post that she has a tooth I will post a picture as proof!)

(Ok Amber... The cobwebs have been removed! LOL I will post pics from our trip to Westport. Really, I will. Oh just wait till you see pics of Cooper. He is sooooo cute! A mini Ryan for sure!)
