The other night Garrett told me he caught a mouse. He was holding his hands very carefully close to his chest. He proceeded to talk to the mouse, read to the mouse, play with the mouse, and the mouse even helped us make ice cream cones. When we were through with the ice cream cones and I washed Garrett's hands at the sink, he told me that the mouse needed his hands washed too. So I played along and washed the mouses hands too. I asked him what the name of the mouse was and he replied "Ummm... ONE! TWO! THREE!" His imagination is booming!
Brandon's unit just finished a week long Standardized testing/drills (STAN Team) and the unit as a whole scored a 49 out of a possible 50 points. They will be recieving a special award for their achievement! Way to go MSST New Orleans! And now to brag about my man... Brandon scored the highest test score of the entire unit!!! I am so proud of him and all of his hard work!
We went under contract on our house with a gentleman who is selling one of his homes in New Orleans East. He buys homes as investment properties and rents them out. If all goes accordingly we will close on May 21st. We are in the process of trying to decide whether or not to buy again or rent or go into base housing. We will be house hunting this week!
Yep, thats right we are headed to Florida for a week! We will be attending Nannies side-of-the family reunion! I am looking forward to meeting family members who I have not met before! And seeing everyone else too! I will have my camera in tow... seems like the perfect opportunity to get some photography practice in while capturing some special moments! We also will be attending Ashlyn's t-ball game, Attending Kaylee's second birthday party, and spending some much needed time at the beach! I will update when we return home, if I am unable to do so while we are there!
Ya'll have a wonderful week and enjoy the pictures!

Lounging on the couch!
