Look at the difference a week can make!

Since the last belly shot I have popped out! This is my 18 week belly shot taken last week. So obviously I am a tad bigger now because I will be 19 weeks tomorrow. That's almost half way folks! My appetite has definitally picked up! We have the big ultrasound this Wednesday and we will be finding out the gender of our little one! We are really excited to know! So check back for the update and ultrasound pictures on Wednesday!

On another note we have been busy getting the house in order to meet with the real estate agent who is coming Wednesday morning. We are in the process of putting our house on the market! I am having a lot of mixed emotions about this. Afterall, this was the first house that we bought... It's also the house where we had our first baby, the only home Garrett has known (with the exception of when we lived in Meridian MS after Katrina). I never imagined us living in Louisiana much less owning a home here or having babies here! We have had a lot of packing to do to de clutter and just yesterday Brandon started re doing the flowerbeds that line the front and entire side of our house. I took some before pictures and I will be sure to share the after pictures so you can see our work in progress.

Today is Lundi Gras... the day before Mardi Gras. Most businesses are closed today, tomorrow for Mardi Gras, and Wednesday for Ash Wednesday! We have enjoyed some of the parades up here in Slidell but unfortunately we won't be able to attend the big parades tomorrow morning in Uptown New Orleans. Garrett got tons of beads and throws (thats what they call the beads and stuffed animals or whatever they "throw" from the floats for you to catch) I will have to post pictures of his loot later. He also mastered the classic phrase of "Throw me something mister" which is adorable to hear coming from his little mouth. I did get that on camera so I will be sure to share that as well. Anyways things are good, hectic but good and I am sure the next two days will d-r-a-g by until our ultrasound appointment at 2 pm!
