Boo!You know the saying "Time flies when you're having fun"? Well its the TRUTH! Last week my Mom and two brothers came for a visit. This was Gabe's first time to New Orleans. And the week flew by! We had a blast. Unfortunately Brandon had to work most of the time due to CG testing but we were still able to do quite a bit in spite of it. The boys (Brandon, Gabe, Micah) started out the week with an airboat swamp tour. This was on Gabe's list of things to do while in Louisiana. They got to see lots of Gators and hurricane devistation in the swamplands. We visited the French Quarter and French Market and the Riverfront and Riverwalk. We took a drive through Katrina devistated neighborhoods around the 17th st canal and into the ninth and lower ninth ward. We had a wonderful Easter. It was so nice to be able to spend it with them in our home! We set up our pool (ok, well the guys did) twice. The first one had a leak. But for the most part we just hung out and spent time together which was such a blessing! I am still sad that the week went by so quck but I am really happy that they were here! We love you guys! Come back soon! (Ya'll come back now!) <------- a little southern for ya!

we had such a good time! i won't even get on the scale to see how much weight i gained---i think all i did was eat! it was great to get into the heat and sun, too. seeing the results of hurricane katrina up close was very sobering. makes one appreciate having their family safe and sound. our trip was far too short!! love you guys, mom
