We've been having gorgeous weather the last few days. It has been wonderful to open the doors and windows and let the fresh air in. If only the summers could be like this. Perfect, and very little humidity. Its the humidity that gets to me during the summers. Anyways we spent the day outside in the yard doing various things like weed eating and sweeping leaves off of the walkways. We also washed my car and the dog. Garrett washed himself in the process. Hey, a little car wash never hurt a kid right? Then we grilled burgers for dinner. I love grilling on days like these. Its like standard in our house. A pretty day calls for grilling something! The fresh air in the house has renewed my spirits. I was feeling pretty blah for a few days. I think it had to do with being sick and then being so bored of being stuck in the house while we all tried to get better. Also Brandon is getting ready to leave for a month so I am sure that has something to do with the blah's too. You would think I would be used to this by now! I think this time I am dreading it because Garrett will be aware that his daddy is gone. They have a special afternoon routine each day when Brandon gets home. And he has been such a daddy's boy lately! This should be interesting.
On a side note, our azaleas are in full bloom and they are gorgeous! We neglect them so bad but they are troopers and every year produce some beautiful flowers! I will take some pictures tomorrow because rumor has it we are in for another pretty day!
