Well yesterday (Jan 11th) our little boy turned 17 months old! The time sure does fly these days. He is so full of love and laughter and an occassional fit that could put any 2 year old to shame. (What's funny is that I think even some of these fits are funny and cute in their own right) He has become quite the little helper boy. If he thinks he can do it, by golly you better sit back and watch cause he is going to show you how its done! (I will post another entry with pictures relating to our little helper)
Oh and Garrett can run like the wind now. He loves to chase us or have us chase him and he laughs the ENTIRE time he is running. I for one have had sore side muscles on many the occasion from giggling so hard with him!
Anyways, I took these pictures of Garrett with his pal Garrett Patten at the park yesterday. They had a lot of fun even though the playground area still has not re-opened since Katrina. Another one of her casualties I guess! Garrett Patten is 3 weeks older than our Garrett. He is the son of another couple stationed with our unit. (Dontcha just love his curls?) At the time the boys were born we were new to this unit and did not know each other. It was funny to find out that we had named our first born the same name. As you can imagine playtime becomes a bit confusing for the boys when we are calling for one of them. The other one always responds too! This is where middle names come in handy!
